As Milan Furniture Fair is going on, Diesel dropped a whole new lifestyle collection “Successful Living”, and I’m digging it. Nice use of perforations on the lamp shades, texture and material mix on tables as well as chairs. Check out the pictures below or just go to their website
The unhappy hipsters blog pokes fun at the unseemingly depressing and dispirted photography of modern and comtemporary living spaces. Used in magazines like Dwell and Wallpaper, irony re-captions these lifestyle photos. Hahaa.

Here are some really stunning photography of WW1 in full color. Although color photography was around prior to 1903, the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, patented the process in 1903 and developed the first color film in 1907. The French army was the primary source of color photos during the course of World War One.
My great Grandpas all took part in this war, My Great Grandfather Francois Picot had his ship sinking in the Baltique sea and was delivering messages on the front lines during War time as a light cavalry men or Hussard…engaged in the army for 7 years, first in the Marine…. He was awarded the WW1 Croix de Guerre with a palm and had 7 citations form the French Army.
Following up on my earlier blog about the SX-70 Polaroid camera, i found these images from the Paris-based photographer Pejman Biroun Vand. It doesn’t hurt that he adds some sensual lighting and a drop-dead gorgeous model, to front this amazing set for La Perla’s J’aime Perfume campaign.Comments (0)
