.At Mage Design we love wildlife, we love fashion, and we really love it when they come together. “Birds are wild and unpredictable creatures, very beautiful, but at the same time you always have a little sense of the danger because they are so much larger and more powerful than you might think. Occasionally they would fly away from the set and we would all just have to be patient and wait for them
to return to work.” Ryan McGinley
Gustav Klimt life drawings at the Getty
.Gustav Klimt is known for his sumptuous, ornate paintings in which the figures are nearly submerged in a mosaic of jewel-like color and gold. He was also a highly accomplished and prolific draftsman. For drawings, Klimt preferred to work in black chalk and pencil, monochrome media which draw attention to the extreme refinement and intensity of his line. .John Clang likes to explore the concept of movement in space and time. In his seemingly static series “Time”, he shows in a very creative way, how close we are to each other in the urban environment. We are all guests of the same room, just at different times. The time-spatial distortion expressed in this series combined with Clang’s keen abstract aesthetics takes the viewer to explore the intimate intricacy of how time moves, with a very special rhythm and humor which are not shared by all the individuals. / Juxtapoz.com

.Artist Lisa Nilsson creates beautiful anatomical cross sections of the human body using rolled pieces of Japanese mulberry paper, a technique known as quilling or paper filigree. Each piece takes several weeks to assemble and begins with an actual photograph of a lateral or mid-sagittal cross section to which she begins pinning small rolls of paper. Depending on its function she rolls the paper on almost anything small and cylindrical including pins, needles, dowels, and drill bits. Lastly she even builds the wooden boxes containing the cross-sections by hand.
