November means it’s basketball season once again and the unmistakable voice of Bill Walton on television. In his day, Walton always stood out on the court, but I had no idea he was so hip away from the game as well!
Recently I came across a great photo set on Cold Splinters, showing the more adventurous side of Bill Walton. His vintage camping gear, hiking boots and Grateful Dead shirt would right into any number of look books and style editorials this fall. Same as it ever was. I hope Walton still has that shirt in the back of his closet.Comments (0)
Mage Design’s latest creative partner, Frends, launches a revamped women’s headphone collection in Apple stores today; with an introduction on behalf of the New York Times‘ online publication, “The Get”.
Helmed by co-owner and founder Keir Dillon, the Frends team worked closely alongside Mage Design to develop a “refined and stylish” headphone which “exudes luxury and hints at grace”. This entirely fresh direction for the brand, aided in part by their ambassador, model/actress Noot Seer, was developed by our team through a series of concept presentations and final design renderings (seen below).

I’M FEELING SUPER INSPIRED BY GERMAN FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER SEBASTIAN MADER. IT’S NICE TO SEE SOMEONE WITH A FOCUSED SENSE OF STYLE WHILE STILL STAYING
RELEVANT. APPARENTLY HE WAS A LIGHTING DIRECTOR FOR STEPHEN KLEIN FOR FIVE YEARS BEFORE MAKING THE FULL LEAP INTO FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY.Comments (0)

Carthartt is made to serve the worker, and wouldn’t exist without those people that get down and dirty, that worked hard to create this country. That’s probably because it is an old school and humble Midwest company, that prefers to let the conversation be about making top notch products, that will keep people safe and dry and warm.
Carhartt has been making clothing in the U.S. since Hamilton Carhartt founded the company in 1889, and just released a Made in USA collection, with seven of the most popular and iconic workwear pieces.
