The name Coren in old English means “chosen” or “precious”, and if you can you spare $25,000 and 40 hours wait, then this precious bike could be yours. This bicycle was designed by Christian Zanzotti and are currently made by a German company called UBC . The Coren is hand-made in less than a day, weighs only 7,700 grams and is available in single speed or fixed gear with a third model currently under construction. The bikes are built with the type of carbon fiber that is usually associated with Formula 1 cars and the aerospace industry, hence the “affordable” pricing, but with a unique looking frame which uses a belt drive instead of a chain.
