An Exploration in Craft featuring Tanner Goods based out of Portland.
“Tanner Goods is a small leather goods manufacturer located in Portland, Oregon. They work hard to manage multiple storefronts and offer a wide range of hand crafted leather accessories. They thrive on their attention to detail and appreciation for top quality products. In the future they plan to expand their product line to include non-leather goods such as eyewear and time pieces, while maintaining their strong roots in simplicity and utilitarian product design.”

Isenseven “Fool’s Gold” Trailer 2012
Just as we’re wrapping up the season here in SoCal, Isenseven are dropping this little gem of a teaser for the upcoming movie “Fools Gold”. It will be available September 2012 at your local boardshop and iTunes worldwide. Based on this teaser I’m kinda excited for some sweet footage, and hoping that this is not just another 15min video slowed down to a 45min long yawn….not trying to call out anyone here.

Two for the price of one
I remember some old baseball cards/playing cards with lenticular printing, but Randy Noborikawa takes this technique to the next level with his paintings. It is very similar to the illusion technique used by Mentalgassi in his “Fence Flip Graffiti”, but instead of just using one side of the artboard, he splits two paintings in half giving you two pieces of art for the price of one.

Le Reve – The last frontier of climbing
“It was exactly what I was looking for – a route that would demand a new levels of dedication, physical strength, and mental fortitude from me. It was of course frustrating, ego-crushing, and difficult throughout, but in the end it was a dream come true. I named the route ‘Le Reve’, meaning ‘The Dream’ in French.” – Jonathan Siegrist
