In any sport a generation, group or an individual will stand out in an iconoclastic matter and influence others to come. In this day and age, the people at Redbull have every right for that type of recognition in there involvement in the world of sports. Although they may have gotten society addicted to caffeine and craving them in even larger doses, we have them to thank for pushing the very limits of what is possible with their vast types of events around the world. In they’re most recent venture “Illume,” photographers all over the globe were challenged to capture amazing feats in various style categories in action/adventure sports. Below are some of the finalist (not in particular/pertaining order) categories: Close up, Energy, Experimental, Illumination, Culture, New Creativity, Playground, Sequence, Spirit, Wings.

PLASTIC + JAPANESE TECHNOLOGY = GASOLINE.

Akinori Ito, from the Japanese company Blest, developed several years ago a Machine capable to transform Plastic back into oil to be later used to create gasoline, Diesel and Kerosene. While the process is not so difficult to understand (See video below) the result is pretty impressive and thanks to Akinori Ito’s “Magix Box” you will be capable to turn 1kg of plastic back to 1l of Oil.  Not only this technology can help to eliminate once for all our “plastic” recycling problem but it also does not create any CO2 during the process.

A Great solution to recycling plastic waste and maybe a deterrent in invading other countries for their natural resources, our combustible engines would still be exhaling the same old junk.

A furthered exploration inspired by Béton Brut, a modern product application conveys well in a student concept by Shmuel Linski. For a material as raw and bold as unfinished concrete to house the process of refined espresso making, an artistic statement of the balance of opposites is nothing more than apparent. In addition, surface temperatures are evenly dispersed and controlled through the concrete’s nature. Seeing this project to production would be music to the ears of FedEx and UPS as well as some graff artists for a dope marketing collabo. hahaa.

New energy drink company Burn promotes a very well done video with collaborations from Publicis Mojo, Exit Films, and which amongst others. I’m curious to know what it will taste like and if it will pair well with Barcardi 151. Unfortunately, we may not know this for a while because it’s not available in the U.S. as of yet.
