Jackie Stewart’s Grand Prix Album
With a Foreword by His Serene Highness Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, only 1,500 signed and numbered books will be created in celebration of one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, Sir Jackie Stewart. Leather-bound in Scotland by craft bookbinders, an incredible motor racing career is told through the archive of the Stewart family albums. A wealth of unseen photographs, press cuttings, pit passes and memorabilia bring to Jackie Stewart’s historic decade in Formula One racing.
A must for all F1 aficionados and features several pictures ( like the two bellow in 1969.) taken from the Charade Racetrack I grew up next to in Clermont Ferrand….

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
I found those couple of pictures of my dad racing his brand new GT3 at Spa-Francorchamps over last week-end. The second photo has my mum as a co-pilot!! Iguess that must be love. With all that said my dad was taking 200 KMH before l’eau rough and 250 before the “S” of les combes. Nice one dad.

DIOGENES THE DOG
” I know nothing, except the fact of my ignorance “
Quote of the day from the most admirable and controversial Greek Philosopher Diogenes of Sinope and founder of Cynic philosophy.
Bellow is a painting of Gerome showcasing Diogneses living in his infamous tube at the marketplace. A man who publicly mocked Alexander the Great and intellectually humiliated the great Plato. Known for carrying a lamp in the daytime, claiming to be looking for an honest man. He regularly argued with Plato, disputing his interpretation of Socrates and sabotaging his lectures. A Favorite of Mage Design which tend to favor Stoicism which was fashioned after Cynism.

STATION TO STATION
David Bowie’s “Station To Station” Deluxe Edition boxset is one of the most discussed boxsets of the year. His tenth studio album, “Station to Station” is also considered one of his best works.
Rob Sheffield from Rolling Stone magazine puts it best: “The whole sordid story of Seventies rock is in the grooves of Station To Station David Bowie Station to Station Deluxe Edition Boxset:
London’s prettiest pop star moves to L.A., samples the local chemicals, loses what’s left of his mind and starts calling himself the Thin White Duke. He ends up on Soul Train fumbling the words to “Golden Years.”
This zonked-out space-funk epic could be Bowie’s greatest album, even if he can barely remember making it. The reissue adds the legendary Nassau Coliseum show of March 1976.”
The box is jammed with 5 CDs (including the original, RCA re-master, and Nassua concent) as well as vinyl issues of the album. Available now from Amazon David Bowie Station to Station Deluxe Edition Boxset.
