Comments (0)RUBY HELMETS – a reassuring coccon for your head
Parisian designer Jerome Coste has taken Steve McQueen iconography, old-school racing cars and great French luxury traditions into developing the Pavillion range of motorcycle accessories for Ruby. He apparently sold his own motorbike to finance the production of the full carbon fiber shells, the kind used in Formula One racing. The ‘inside garnish’ (to quote Coste) is a soft lining of decadent burgundy nappa lambskin, chosen for its comfort and anti-bacterial properties. Henceforth providing a reassuring cocoon for your head.

A hallmark of the brand since its inception, Billionaire Boys Club works up a new graphic tee, adding to its new collection for Spring/Summer 2010. The tee features a simple design stating “Sound of Earth” with a gold record graphic referencing back to the Voyager Golden Record. It is now available through select BBC/Ice Cream retailers. courtesy of – HYPEBEAST.
NOTE: be sure to stop by the Voyager link above. If you haven’t heard the sound bite before, you should.

Comments (0)Mile high club…..or just a relaxing hotel
So what do you do with a cold war-era, East German airplane? You turn this 120 seater into a luxury hotel suite, called the Vliegtuigsuite. Grounded at Teuge airport in the Netherlands, this modern, luxury facility, houses three flat screen tv’s, blu-ray player, a sauna and of course a jacuzzi. As a guest you have the entire plane to your disposal, from the king-size bed to the cockpit, as anyone should for 350 euros a night.
